Every draw rolls a six-digit number, 000000 to 999999, and then reads it. Is it a palindrome? Prime? All even? Does it contain 420? Twenty-four patterns, and the odds printed beside each one were counted over all one million numbers — so 1 in 1,000 here is a fact about the number, not a weight somebody chose.

The number decides the aura. A rare pattern is a large luck multiplier on that one draw, so a palindrome is not a decoration printed next to a result that had already been decided — it is the reason the result was good. Fifty-two auras behind it, and you wear one for its passive.

The three wells are the part you play. They re-tilt after every draw. One might be ×2.6 luck flat; the next ×0.6 but ×8 to everything rarer than 1 in a million. The floor each one buys is printed on its card, so it is a read rather than a guess — and the right answer moves with the biome.

Nothing is ever out of reach. Every aura has an endless star ladder — Ember, Ember ★1 at a hundred times the rarity, ★2 at ten thousand. As your luck climbs the window slides up it, so an aura you never caught at ★0 is still ahead of you at ★3, and the ladder never runs out of rungs. That is what makes the ranks endless too.

Badges are the spine of it. Every pattern you hit for the first time is a badge, kept for good. Each one is permanent luck; the twenty-four fall into four sets — Shape, Number, Culture, Purity — and finishing a set is a large permanent bonus. Badges are also the only thing that unlocks gloves and skins. The rarest badge is one number in a million.

Gloves change a rule, not a number. One gives the charge back when your number has no pattern — which is most of them. One makes every eighth draw pay double. One doubles your luck and shrinks your bank to three. Your skin is who you are while you do it, and the aura you wear is drawn around them.

Ranks cost points, points come from rarity. Each rank is +9% luck forever, and there is no last one.
